Laura Buchan, legal director with the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS), warned that carrying knives is blighting communities and destroying young lives. Speaking about the teenager who killed John McNab, she said: “Within Scotland’s prosecution service, we have seen too many cases where young people carrying knives has led to loss of life.”
Someone should tell Laura Buchan that a person can carry 10 knives and never hurt anybody whilst someone else who carries no offending weapons can commit all the murder he/she wants.
Governments foster young murderers through the education they promote: films, books, cartoons, games and sports, (paint ball, boxing) video games, console games, education (admiration for the best killers in history, called ‘heroes’. Understandably, governments need to form lovers of violence, fighters, torturers, killers as well as people who don’t mind dying young, otherwise nobody will join the Armed Forces.
