GG, I understand that with GeoPolitics in your name, you write about politics, but “The Rules-Based Order Was Never Meant to Apply to Its Architects” exists well before politics and politicians exist.

Well before Politics we have Religion. Religions teach that killing is wrong, is a sin, yet they all started with armies, which practiced just that, killing. Yet religions tell you that if you kill, God will punish you, you’ll not be accepted in heaven when you die, et.

Politicians follow that example; if you kill someone, the Police arrests you, you go to Court and you end up in prison, because you’ve committed a crime.

However, politicians, governments have the legal right to organise armies, train them in the art of killing, torturing, destroying buildings, families, societies, the environment and it’s all legal. In fact, the more you destroy, the more people you kill, the more your government appreciate it, offer you career promotion, increased salary, cover you in medals, etc.

The UN’s Charter for Peace says all wars are illegal, yet all wars in the world are promoted by UN countries, under the supervision of the War Supremo, the UN Secretary General.

With this idiotic, unfair and absurd system, rules will always be broken by those who make/made them.
