Your article “Why Europe Blinked: The Russian Billions It Cannot Touch” is excellent and truthful, but deep down, Europe knew from the beginning they’ll be ‘blinking’. Relationships between Europe and Russia have to ‘appear’ to be bad, otherwise military threats, attacks and expenditure, cannot be produced.
