Excellent article and your statement “….the working class bears the costs” is a great truth. But blame the working class this situation, starting with the workers in the war industry. Workers who make a living making weapons, missiles, explosives, vehicles of of war, knowing that what they make will kill other workers. Amoral and irresponsible. Also the millions of workers who join the Armed Forces as a career, becoming legal murderers, paid to kill the supposed enemy their government negotiated to have a war with. Paid to destroy families, societies, buildings, Nature and the economy. Without this workers, governments couldn’t sponsor the war industry, couldn’t have slaves (Armed Forces) couldn’t destroy the economy through wars, couldn’t cause inflation, etc.
