your analysis, no matter how professionally and analytically is written,  does nothing enlighten the vast majority of readers and to create a better world.

What you call “American failures in Afghanistan, Yemen, and the confrontation with Iran” is viewed as great successes by those who caused those ‘failures’.

What you call “undermining the credibility of the American military and the political class that commands it” again, is viewed as a success by those in command and by the ‘real’ commanders (political, military, war industry, banking and oil “leaders and decision makers”.

We have to remember that human life for the above mentioned groups is totally expendable. We have to also remember that funeral and construction concerns are over the moon with leaders organising war and destruction.

Why didn’t the Iranian president explain why his government kills all the time its own citizens for their religious or sexual behaviour? why didn’t his diatribe mentioned the oppressed and working-class population, with 36% of the total citizenship living under the poverty line?  

I agree America has a lot of problems and defects, but Iran does not lag behind.
