USA identifying China as the primary systemic competitor, means nothing in reality. Competition is a healthy activity, very stimulating and most productive.
In fact, USA and China have an all-round excellent business arrangement, with China being the largest – by far – foreign investor in America. All major US cities have Chinese consulates; equally, America has a huge embassy in Beijing and consulates in all major Chinese cities.
China makes weapons for the American Armed Forces. America has 4,500 Mc Donald’s in China. At the UN in New York and Geneva, Chinese and American diplomats share restaurants, tables and gyms.
China and US members of the UN Security Council work together, with Russia, UK and France, to create all wars in the world, with the support of the 10 ‘guest’ countries (changed annually), countries needed to support Security Council’s war plans.
If you think I exaggerate, take your time and look at the list of guest countries.
Playing “Enemy” is only necessary to keep politicians’ favourite industry, the war industry, producing £££££$$$$$$Euros for them. Countries go bankrupt with military expenditure, debts increase permanently, but politicians are not ‘personally’ responsible for those debt.
Nothing will change until the day humanity wakes up and instead of complaining every time a war breaks out, simply makes wars impossible, by demanding the Universal Abolition of Militarism.
Ending Militarism (War industry and Armed Forces) will automatically end poverty, hunger, illiteracy, homelessness and allow humanity to live like humans, with all scientists working to enhance and prolong life, not to shorten it, destroying buildings and nature in the process.
