Bombs NEVER replace Bridges! bombs destroy bridges. This is exactly what they are made for. I oppose bombs (and all killing toys), so I have the right to complain about their manufacturing and trade. But anybody who accepts Militarism. that is the War Industry and the Armed Forces, has no right to complain, since the person is tacitly accepting them and contributing to the destruction they produce.

Politically or metaphorically speaking, governments are forced to destroy bridges in order to have an excuse for using bombs. Same as the film industry produces films, the war industry produces wars. We can not plant potatoes and reap bananas.

It is so sad David, that you don’t use your position as President and CEO of the International Rescue Committee to educate the world. You know so well that the War industry and their clients, the Armed Forces, will always create the suffering you describe. You talk about the Democratic Republic of Congo, but you know very well the same happens in Sudan, Somalia, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Nigeria and many other corners of the planet. Why don’t you put put an end to the immorality of the Merchants of Death and Slavery (the Armed Forces), the Industry of Death and Destruction. Poverty, hunger, illiteracy, homelessness, etc will never disappear whilst politicians have the right to destroy lives, families, societies, buildings, Nature, infrastructure and the economy.
