I’m only sorry I don’t have the time to comment in detail, but I can tell you 100% certainty, that Mark Carney’s speech was excellent by political standards, that is, full of lies presented as credible truths. His predecessor was sometimes more direct. For instance, when quizzed about allowing the export of deadly weapons and military vehicles to Saudi Arabia (the Canadian Constitution forbids the sale to warrying countries – what is the artillery made for?) knowing that the Saudis will use them to kill people in Yemen, his candid reply was “my first duty is the welfare of the Canadian people. My choice was between dead Yemeni or leaving thousands of Canadian without a job”. Charming!
